Lecture Abstract |
Report 1: Network Softwarization: Formalization, Optimization and Evaluation Abstract: Networks are currently rapidly evolving from a closed-shop environment to an open, flexible, and adaptive environment to execute software. This is partially driven by the idea to make network functionality itself more flexible by means of virtualizing it in software ("network virtualization"), partially by the desire to integrate microservices-based, "over-the-top" applications into that network itself. This talk will look at different aspects of this problem, ranging from problem formalization, optimization approaches, and toolchains for the evaluation of such systems. Report 2: Introduction to Paderborn University and Studying in Germany Holger Karl is the Associate Dean of the School of Computer Science at the University of Paderborn, Germany. He will introduce the research and study life in Paderborn University in Germany. He will Introduce the application for studying abroad and the academic exchanges and joint training programs between Xidian University and Paderborn University. |
