He has been the chairman of 36th, 37th and 38th MATADOR  international conferences on advanced manufacturing.

Lecture  Abstract

Laser  nano-manufacturing is a recently emerged technology that is still in its  infancy. This presentation gives an overview the recent developments of basic  technologies on laser based nano-manufacturing including surface patterning and  lithography techniques beyond diffraction limit, laser based methods for the  production of nano-materials (e.g. nanoparticles, nanowire, nano-tubes etc) and  laser based additive manufacturing for nano-3D printing.  Scientific  challenges are discussed, applications examples are given and outlook of the  future trend is presented.
